The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability.

We have a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an Assistant Director to join the Fraud Investigations branch within NDIA's Integrity Transformation and Fraud Fusion Taskforce Group.
Where you can add valueBring your extensive team leadership skills and your demonstrated ability to identify risks, resolve issues and develop skills across a variety of activities. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Leading a team responsible for delivering the Fraud Fusion Taskforces integrity and investigation objectives.End to end Case Management and active supervision of complex and sensitive investigations.Reviewing and reporting on investigations based on scheme, administrative, participant and revenue risks.Developing and maintaining a high-level working relationship with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and other APS and law enforcement entities.Leading the execution of operational activity (including search warrants).Enough about us, let's talk about youThe ideal candidate will have extensive investigative experience, to the Australian Government Investigation standard (AGIS) in the Australian Public Service (APS). You will hold or be able to obtain within 12 months of commencement with the Agency a Diploma in Government (Investigation), or its equivalent. Applicants must have or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Negative Vetting Level 1".
