EL1 Fraud Fusion Taskforce Capability Branch OpportunitiesCurrently, there are around 4.3 million Australians with a disability.
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare.
As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability.
For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need.
The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian.
A new role awaitsThe Fraud Fusion Taskforce and Integrity Capability Division (the Division) has several EL1 vacancies across the Fraud Fusion Taskforce Capability Branch.
The Division drives the Agency's integrity response and capability uplift as well as the coordination of the whole-of-government multi-agency Fraud Fusion Taskforce (FFT).
Our division is responsible for:
Investigating and responding to internal and external fraud against the NDIS which includes undertaking criminal investigations of serious and organised fraud against the NDIS in partnership with Fraud Fusion Taskforce member agencies.Managing the tip-off process and collecting intelligence about integrity concerns to ensure this is acted upon.
We develop risk profiles through detection analytics which inform our responses.Scalable responses, targeted at specific integrity vulnerabilities and cohorts, to address known and emerging integrity and fraud matters.Fraud investigations, which will progress to prosecutions for serious cases.Overall governance and management of the multi-agency Fraud Fusion Taskforce (FFT).
This includes development of agreed strategic prevention concepts and priorities across FFT agencies and reporting of savings and benefits.The Fraud Fusion Taskforce Capability Branch leads the overall governance and management of the multi-agency Fraud Fusion Taskforce (FFT).
This includes strategy, program management, secretariat, co-design, stakeholder engagement, assurance, regulatory compliance and strategic prevention teams.
EL1 Program Manager and EL1 Identity Policy The Identity Management and Assurance team designs and implements robust strategies for prevention and early detection of fraud and non-compliance against government payments programs, including the NDIS.
Responsibilities of the EL1 Identity Policy will include:
Supervising and leading a cross-division policy and technical support function providing operational policy, and decision support on complex operational matters and policy interpretation.Applying contemporary understanding of whole of Agency and function-specific policies, guidance and tools for assisting operational areas in embedding compliance best practice.Representing the branch and division at internal working groups, think tanks and other strategic engagement opportunities.Fostering a contemporary understanding of disability across the division to ensure the program delivers high quality, participant centric outcomes.Identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and policies for compliance integration in the broader NDIA ecosystem.EL1 Integrity Reform The Integrity Reform team is responsible for coordinating the integrity-focused law reform agenda for the Integrity Transformation and Fraud Fusion Taskforce Group.
The team works across the Agency, with Department of Social Services (DSS), and with FFT member agencies to drive key improvements and reform opportunities.
Responsibilities of the EL1 Integrity Reform role include:
Leading the provision of policy and legislative support, expertise and technical knowledge across a range of activities including systems, workload management, people performance, financial, staff lifecycle, knowledge and change management.Supporting the strategic advocacy of the FFT, including supporting the agenda of the Reform and Advocacy Working Group.Providing accurate and specialised advice, ensuring knowledge of and compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks across multiple portfolios.EL1 Strategy and Integrity Platforms and EL1 Program Manager The Strategy and Integrity Platforms team drives a range of activities and projects across the FFT and NDIA.
Their current work streams include business intelligence, data strategy and governance and FFT strategy and fraud prevention.
Responsibilities of the EL1 Strategy and Integrity Platforms include but are not limited to:
Organising and leading project discussions and workshops with business areas and delivery partners.Utilising data, process mining and statistical tools to analyse Fraud Fusion Taskforce program and financial performance.Developing strategic program approach modelling and tracking of Taskforce milestones.Performing specific project management and coordination of specific Fraud Fusion Taskforce initiatives.Developing and delivering optimisation program management initiatives to support improvement and performance in line with strategic objectives.Ensuring all optimisation activities consider opportunities to enhance the experiences for participants, providers, partners and agency staff using an integrated approach.Responsibilities of the EL1 Program Manager will include:
Organising and leading project discussions and workshops with business areas and delivery partners.Utilising data, process mining and statistical tools to analyse FFT program and financial performance.Developing strategic program approach modelling and tracking of Taskforce milestones.Performing specific project management and coordination of specific FFT initiatives.Preparing and managing a range of written material including business cases, Senate Estimate submissions, Ministerial and Agency briefs, annual, quarterly and month reporting and other corporate documentation.Enough about us, let's talk about youYou're a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in integrity, investigation, and policy analysis.

We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
