A new role awaitsThe NDIA is seeking highly motivated professionals with enterprise architecture and leadership experience to join the agency as EL1 Enterprise Architects.The Enterprise Architecture and Governance Branch provides enabling services for the entire Chief Information Officer (CIO) Division including Financial and Business Management, Technical Delivery, Governance Risk and Assurance and Enterprise Architecture functions and supports ICT service delivery for Agency Staff and Partners.The branch aim is to implement a sensible and comprehensive governance strategy to ensure the successful execution and delivery of technology projects and enhancements.Our ideal candidate is an experienced mentor and coach who brings a continuous improvement mindset to the role to inspire the team members to strive for the best outcomes. You are a problem solver by nature with demonstrated Enterprise Architecture background, skills and industry experience across financial, health or government sectors. You will be organised, proactive, and able to exceed in a fast-paced work environment, with a proven record of accomplishment developing business solutions aligned to the assigned subject areas.Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining meaningful relationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels to drive positive business outcomes is pivotal to be successful in this position. TOGAF certification or equivalent IT architectural qualification are highly desirable but not a requirement to apply for this position.If this sounds like you and you are passionate about enterprise architecture, we encourage you to apply.Working at the NDIA, it is essential you have a positive contemporary attitude to people with disability along with a high level of understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals.The key duties of the position includeThe EL1 Enterprise Architect is responsible for applying a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the critical views of the enterprise.You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of tasks, including, but not limited to:Working closely with the EL2 Enterprise Architects, building the maturity of enterprise architecture to support the NDIA.Engaging with both ICT and business stakeholders, developing and maintain architecture roadmaps that reflect and support the business needs.Providing technical oversight and facilitate complex issues resolution that can arise during project planning, discovery and delivery.Presenting recommendations and solutions appropriate for the NDIA environment and business priorities.Representing the solution(s) being developed through all relevant governance processes, including the Architecture Review Board.Leading, coaching and managing staff, including performance, attendance, health and wellbeing, capability building and succession planning.
