Ally group is seeking Senior Privacy Lawyers for executive level roles within a high functioning federal government agency. This is an exciting twelve month secondment opportunity, with the possibility of extension, within the legal team of a core branch of the department.
Candidates must either be Canberra or Brisbane based and hold a practicing certificate.
A Baseline security clearance is preferred.
About the role:
This role is at an EL1-EL2 and higher equivalent level and requires high level subject matter expertise in privacy law, as well as the capacity to manage and uplift a team of lawyers. This role also requires well developed technical ICT skills or the ability to acquire such skills quickly and effectively. General duties and responsibilities:
provision of privacy related advice project management privacy threshold assessments instructing external lawyers who complete privacy impact assessments other duties and responsibilities involved in privacy law work and the leading of a privacy team What's in it for you?
