Lead interesting, complex pieces of work – you will be responsible for managing audit projects, analysing and reporting complex audit issues, and leading and developing team members. You will also be responsible for providing a high-quality auditing experience to our clients and developing professional relationships with clients, client Audit Committees and other senior stakeholders.
Under broad guidance, positions at this level will:
manage and deliver complex performance statements audit tasks and audit products; supervise, mentor and support the professional development of more junior staff; exercise sound judgment to assess the value of audit evidence and form audit opinions and recommendations; provide high level professional and technical advice; conduct analytical problem solving and evaluate government programs and administration ; manage client relationships; and make a positive contribution to the development of the Performance Statements Audit Services Group . Eligibility Citizenship – To be eligible for employment with the ANAO, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance – The Australian community requires the highest level of integrity from ANAO employees. The preferred applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level specified above .
