$115,899 - $130,733 + 10% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation Osborne - SA, Russell - ACT The Role This Contract Manager role within Submarines Division is an excellent opportunity to be accountable for, and under limited direction; perform complex strategic sourcing and contract management tasks.
Your knowledge and understanding of legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements will be important for success in this role.
In your role you will work independently with the opportunity for autonomy and accountability in the delivery of outcomes.
You will manage and provide clear direction, assistance and services relating to procurement policy issues and commercial, legal, financial investigation, technical and other requirements as applicable in order to support contract management outcomes.
You will be able to translate and apply legal principles, legislative and mandatory policy compliance obligations and critical commercial risk and performance requirements.
You will be required to identify and respond to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve Program and Defence outcomes.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
