Indigeco Recruitment is supporting the Australian Electoral Commission in sourcing an EL1 Audit Manager for an initial contract till 30th June 2025 with a potential extension of 6 months. The salary range is $113,821 - $128,264 plus 15.4% superannuation.

Purpose of the Role Join a dynamic team within the Parliamentary, Governance, and Assurance Section, supporting the agency in delivering services to ministers and Parliament, maintaining structured governance, and ensuring confidence in business outcomes. As an Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering independent audit and advisory services that safeguard and enhance operations, ensuring compliance with the AEC Assurance Framework.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee compliance with the Public Governance, Performance, and Accountability Act 2013.Support the Chief Audit Executive in maintaining Internal Audit and Assurance governance arrangements.Manage internal audit processes, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.Provide expert advice and analysis on assurance and compliance matters.Lead and develop a high-performing team, encouraging professional growth.Build and manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.Deliver timely and accurate advice to senior leadership and committee.Key Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in internal audit, with expertise in applying International Professional Practices Frameworks.Professional auditing qualifications (e.g., CGAP, CISA, CPA, or equivalent).Membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors or ISACA, or eligibility to join.Demonstrated knowledge of governance frameworks, stakeholder management, and analytical skills in complex environments.Ability to maintain personal integrity and deliver results within legislative parameters.If this sounds like an interesting opportunity then apply today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
