The Future Focus Team (FFT) exists to ensure a futures thinking lens is applied to DVA's policies, strategies, frameworks and processes.
The FFT is a fast-paced, supportive, dynamic team currently delivering a number of high-profile, high-priority initiatives across three work streams: Futures Thinking Capability, Critical Projects, and Process Improvement. The three areas work in partnership to inform the strategy and business processes required to drive effective, future-focused change. Key activities include:
The FFT is made up of a core team, complemented by regular short-term placements that bring together a broad range of backgrounds, skills, and experience in order to support DVA's ongoing commitment to build futures capability across the Department.
Duties Eligibility Notes
This recruitment process is being used to fill ongoing and/or non-ongoing position/s. For more information about the role, please see the Candidate Information Pack.
Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for an initial specified term of up to 23 months.
A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
