$115,899 - $130,733 + 10% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation Reid - ACT The Role Digital Capability Division (DCD) within Defence Digital Group (DDG) is seeking to recruit future focused Executive Level 1 (EL 1) digital capability leaders, to utilise your excellent leadership, analysis, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
We have multiple EL 1 Assistant Director Digital Capability opportunities within the Enterprise Digital Capability Branch.
These roles offer a unique opportunity for individuals to join a high performing team, and undertake challenging yet exciting work that will make a direct impact to Defence's digital capabilities.
In these roles, you can expect to lead teams to critically analyse information, influence and brief senior leaders, solve problems and manage internal and external stakeholders.
This includes facilitating capability scope elicitation, developing opportunity statements and roadmaps, and undertaking cost benefit analysis to inform the future state digital capabilities.
You will be contributing to strengthening Australia's national security through digital capability decision-making.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.

About our Team The Digital Capability Division manages digital demand across Defence and executes on the Chief Information Officer's Capability Manager Function across the One Defence Capability System life cycle.
Enterprise Digital Capability Branch manages Enterprise digital demand across Defence.
We also design sponsor and shepherd digital capability investments to ensure they achieve the agreed effects.

Knowledge of Defence capability and the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) is desirable.
