The Mental Health and Wellbeing Branch in the People Services and Wellbeing Division, Defence People Group, is responsible for the development of strategy, policies and programs to improve mental health and wellbeing.
As an Assistant Director, you will be part of a dynamic team of subject matter experts within the newly established Evaluation, Data Analytics and Assurance team, responsible for measuring and reporting on change to Defence population mental health and wellbeing.
You will have responsibility for the Defence Suicide Database and other related databases within the Branch, as well as managing data sharing arrangements with internal and external stakeholders.

You will identify strategies and efficiencies for maintaining existing services, business applications, and platforms to maximise availability, reliability and service continuity.
??????? As an EL1 ICT Database Administrator, we will require the following from you: Experience in database design and implementation, including collaboration with stakeholders to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
Knowledge of and experience utilising relevant tools e.g.
SQL and Python.
Knowledge of and experience in database modelling or data warehousing.
Understanding of database maintenance, administration, security and governance.
Database Monitoring, Optimisation, Documentation and Reporting.
