The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare.
As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability.

A new role awaits We are looking for a driven, talented and motivated leader to join our Actuarial Insights and Monitoring (AIM) Branch as an EL1 Actuary, in the Analytics, Data and Actuarial Division within the Enabling Services/Chief Operating Officer Group.
The Actuarial Insights and Monitoring (AIM) Branch is an integral part of the Analytics, Data, and Actuarial Division, focusing on continuous monitoring and reporting on Scheme performance against key metrics.
Our reports are distributed to key stakeholders, including Disability Ministers, to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
The EL1 Actuary (Professional Stream) will oversee and guide the activities of the team and contractors, ensuring alignment with the organisations objectives.
The role demands the ability to tackle complex challenges and problems, making informed decisions and providing high-level policy advice and operational support.
This position is within the professional job stream and the officer must possess relevant academic qualifications including tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies or Mathematics/Statistics, progressing towards Associate and/or Fellowship qualifications.
