The Role We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic EHS Advisor to join our team! This role's purpose is to provide technical support and exceptional customer service to village teams and Keyton corporate functions within the region. This is a permanent full-time role based in Melbourne on a hybrid working environment.
The Environmental Health and Safety Advisor will consistently work to our aspiration to be Incident & Injury Free and provide a positive impact on the environment in all spaces. This role will see you working across various village spaces to lead the implementation of EHS systems, processes, goals and key performance indicators ensuring compliance across regional assets through a robust assurance program.
Reporting to the National EHS Manager, this role is pivotal in driving our commitment to high safety standards and environmental stewardship. Your key accountabilities in this role will include:
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish an integrated approach to EHS, from acquisitions of an asset through to its completion, handover and ongoing operation and maintenance.Maintaining current knowledge of all relevant legal and regulatory EH&S requirements, as well as Company policies and guidelines, to ensure proposed EH&S plans and safe work procedures are in line with industry Best Practice and comply with all legal regulations.Promoting and implementing initiatives that reduce the environmental footprint of our operations, ensuring sustainable practices are embedded in all activities.About you: To be successful in this role you will have:
5-10 years' experience in EHS field.An understanding of the management of ISO 45001, 45002, 45003 and 14001.Advanced knowledge of the Environmental Health and Safety compliance standards.Experience in applying Human and Organisational Performance (HOP) processes such as event learning investigations and learning teams.Experience in developing and delivering wellbeing strategies and initiatives, including managing psychosocial hazards.Experience in injury management.A people-focused attitude.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate across the organisation at all levels.Demonstrated exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues.Relevant tertiary qualifications in EHS, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health, Psychology or a related discipline.Perks and benefits Competitive salary with opportunities for continuing development.A supportive and friendly work environment.The chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.4x Wellbeing Days (one per quarter).
