Visy Recycling, a global leader in packaging, paper, and resource recovery, is seeking an experienced finance professional to join the team as a Senior Management Accountant . About the Role
As part of the Visy Recycling State Management team, the Senior Management Accountant acts as the conduit between SA and Head Office. This role is integral in providing financial leadership and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. This includes overseeing budgets, forecasts, reconciliations and compliance while supporting strategic decision-making.
Based at the Wingfield facility, this role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and the leadership of a small finance team to drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reports with full data integrity. Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with divisional priorities. Manage profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and capital expenditure processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and statutory requirements. Mentor and manage a small finance team, fostering professional growth and collaboration. Collaborate with operations, IT and finance teams to optimise financial systems and processes. Selection Criteria: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA or CPA Qualification 5+ years of experience in an accounting role Advanced analytical skills with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Must have the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP and Hyperion is an advantage. A strong focus on compliance, attention to detail, and process improvement. Experience in manufacturing or recycling industries is highly regarded. How to Apply
