Recruitment, Training and Compliance Administrator at Eftech International Role: The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of the Shell turnaround project by performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance, installations, and testing in compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
Responsibilities:
Turnaround Experience: Proven experience working in shutdown or turnaround environments, particularly within oil and gas operations.
Hazardous Area Experience: Familiarity with working in Class 1 Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
Instrumentation Knowledge: Ability to work with electrical systems integrated with instrumentation and control processes.
Instrumentation Maintenance: Inspect, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation.
Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to site safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with hazardous area requirements, including ATEX or IECEx standards.
Electrical Systems Work: Install, test, and repair electrical components and systems.
Skills & Experience Required:
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
Qualification to work as a licensed electrician in Australia.
Electrical License (QLD).
A valid Queensland electrical license is required to legally perform electrical work.
Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA).
Training and competency for electrical installations and maintenance in hazardous areas, in compliance with AS/NZS 60079 standards.
Working at Heights (WAH).
Competency to safely perform work at heights, typically renewed every 2–3 years.
High Risk Work License (EWP).
License to operate elevated work platforms (boom lifts) over 11 meters, if applicable to the role.
CPR/LVR (Low Voltage Rescue).
Current certification in CPR and low-voltage rescue, typically renewed annually.
Must have QLD registration or willing to get it, EEHA, Working at heights, EWP and CPR.
