Our client is on the lookout for an exceptional and visionary Centre Director to join the team here in Wodonga. As part of your role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting and forming strong relationships with children, families and the wider community! The management team are off the floor, in a non-contact position! With an Assistant Director and Educational Leader also off the floor, you will be provided with ample support!
Your new role
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Centre in line with legislative requirements, company policies and procedures Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all educators Ensure that high quality early learning programs are delivered by a passionate team of educators Manage staffing rosters efficiently Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines Deliver consistent high quality standards for centre presentation and work practices Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, families, children and the local business community Ensure you are actively attracting, converting, and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments and orientation in conjunction with our enrolment Team What you'll need to succeed
A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA Minimum 2 years experience as a Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor in an early childhood setting Understanding of CCS and QikKids (desirable, but not essential) Current WWCC, first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications Excellent understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals What you'll get in return
