The Role
The role involves supporting the performance analytics, reporting, and investment reporting requirements for all IFM Investors products. This includes compiling and analysing data using Factset, Bloomberg, and other systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables, and participating in complex attribution and risk-return analysis. The position also supports the implementation of new portfolios, business-wide projects, and continuous improvement initiatives, while providing data and reports for internal teams and assisting in new product development.
Compile, analyse, and produce performance and analytical reports using Factset, Bloomberg, and in-house systems. Measure and attribute fund portfolio performance. Calculate performance returns and prepare reports for stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables. Conduct complex attribution and risk-return analysis on fund performance. Support Front Office teams with portfolio validation, investigations, and commentary. Assist in implementing new portfolios and business-wide projects.
Your Background and Experience
Over 2 years of experience in performance analytics and reporting within financial services, servicing institutional investors. Strong team player with effective time management and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments. Proficient in handling large data sets with strong attention to detail and investigating data inconsistencies. Capable of meeting tight deadlines and providing accurate reporting. Excellent communication skills and ability to foster good relationships with business areas, clients, and consultants. Tertiary qualification in commerce, economics, finance, or related field; post-graduate qualifications are a plus.
