Baker PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Qualified Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight East Warrnambool.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and produce quality bakery products according to Bakers Delight standards.Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.Operate machines and tools to prepare bakery products.Decorate cakes with glazes, icing, butter-cream and edible toppings.Prepare pastry fillings.Coordinate the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.Glaze buns and pastries.Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools and premises.Monitor oven temperatures and product appearances to determine baking times.To be successful in this role, you will require:
AQF Certificate IV or higher Australian standard qualifications.In absence of formal qualifications, at least 3 years or more verifiable work experience as a Baker.Flexible availability to work across 7 days of the week, including public holidays, starting times can be as early as 2am.Ability to be on your feet for most of the day and some level of manual handling.Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.Possession, punctuality, reliability and good organisation skills.The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 per year plus Superannuation.
