CPB Contractors are currently recruiting experienced EEHA Electricians to join our APLNG project team. These roles are full-time and based onsite on a BIBO arrangement from Brisbane, working an 18 days on, 10 days off roster.
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be working on the following responsibilities:
Gas gathering wellsites low voltage cable installation and termination of:Telemetry systems, Wimax, LTEWellhead Electrical SkidsWellhead instrumentsCompliance with Hazardous Area installation standards.Ensuring all required Wells site build quality documentation is completed on the Clients electronic construction and completions systems (CCMS) including FICs, ITRs, As-builts reports and punch lists.EEHA Certification within the last 2 years for testing, visual, close and detailed inspection of HA equipment, rectification, installation and maintenance.QLD Electrical trade qualification, LV rescue and CPR qualifications (essential).5 years+ post-trade experience on a large-scale Oil & Gas project.Current QLD Driver's license.An understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management, and hazard identification.Applicants with the following will be highly regarded: High Voltage Cable, Transformer and RMU VLF testing.High Voltage Switching Operator qualification (HVSO).We particularly welcome and encourage applications from Indigenous Peoples, women, the LGBTQ+ community, mature workers, Veterans and active-duty armed forces, people with disabilities, and people from different cultural backgrounds.
