Mentor and leadership opportunities About the Opportunity St John's Child Care (Neutral Bay) is a not-for-profit Long Day Care Centre, providing Quality Care and Education to children aged birth to 6 years. The centre caters for up to 44 children and is easily accessible by public transport via Military Road. Operating hours are from 7am-6pm.
As an active team member, you will support the service in providing high-quality care and education for children.
What you'll be doing in this role: As a Certificate III Educator, you'll provide quality education and care to children to support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
Your work may include: Developing positive relationships that support children, their families, and the community. Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities. Documenting children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes. Who we're looking for: Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous on-the-job experience (preferred). Be passionate about working with children of all ages. A work history that demonstrates programming, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard). Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
