Join our St Luke's Long Day Care & Kindergarten and use your knowledge, skills and experience to deliver quality education and care. At St Luke's we provide care for children from six weeks old, for up to a maximum of 78 children.
Hours: Part-time and Full-time available.
Remuneration: Enjoy 10.25% above award wages, Level 3.1 to Level 3.4, depending on qualifications and experience and as per the Children's Services Modern Award 2010.
Key Responsibilities:Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.Participate in professional and personal development.You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.Build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.Job Requirements:Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential.Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months - Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.Effective workplace communication skills.The Benefits:10.25% above award rates, based on experience and qualifications.We close for two weeks at Christmas.Opportunity to maximise your hours across a number of service locations.Ability to create professional relationships within the school and wider community.Access to Employee Assistance Program.A supportive management team who works together collaboratively to ensure the best quality of care for children.The service is cleaned by external contractors each evening.About CEECWithin our network of 130+ long day care, kindergarten, and outside school hours care services, Catholic Early EdCare is dedicated to nurturing children's social, personal, respectful, spiritual, creative, and confident growth.
