We seek a casual educator to support children at our OSHC services at Ettalong.
Working Hours:
2:15 pm-5:45 pm Monday-Thursday
2:00 pm-6:00 pm - Friday
All applicants will be assessed after the Christmas break from 6th January 2025. Our Out-of-School-Hours Educators provide engaging, exciting, and interactive activities through our Before School, After School, and Vacation Care services. As a member of our OSHC family, you'll be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds, while supporting our OSHC Coordinators to ensure our services stay the very best they can be.
About your new role: You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school age children.You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities.Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW.You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career.About you: Y NSW staff love supporting their communities, and our educators innovate learning every day.Y NSW OSHC Educators are motivated to develop children outside of the classroom.Everyone at the Y NSW ensures that we provide supportive service for families.Everyone at the Y NSW is committed to safeguarding and hosting safe learning environments.To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience supervising and interacting with children.Ability to follow safeguarding priorities.Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours.Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR.Valid Working with Children Check.Police Check (paid for by the Y).Why work with us?
