We collaborate closely with Roxby Downs Child Care Centre , located in the modern and vibrant town of Roxby Downs in remote South Australia.
Role Overview: As an Educational Leader and/or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Lead Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs.
Mentor and Support Staff: Provide guidance and professional development to educators.
Foster Child Development: Create a nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain high standards of care by adhering to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Engage Families: Build strong, positive relationships with families to support children's learning and development.
Promote Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest in early childhood education to continuously improve teaching strategies.
Minimum Requirements: Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent Bachelor of Early Childhood (essential for ECT role) Full working rights in Australia (No sponsorship is being offered) Teacher's registration (essential for ECT role) Current first aid certificate Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and QIP Leadership experience in Early Childhood setting Current residence in or willingness to relocate to Roxby Downs, SA Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer: Up to 7% Above Award Rate Competitive Pay Package Training and Mentorship Up to 50% Childcare Discount Paid Professional Development Discounted Housing We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, parents returning to the workforce, and mature-age workers.
