Your Role in the Hive The Busy Bees Educational Leader has an influential role in inspiring, motivating, affirming, and challenging or extending the practice and pedagogy of educators.
Our Educational Leaders are on a collaborative endeavour involving inquiry and reflection, which significantly impacts the important work of all educators in our service for children and families.
Take a lead role in giving and modelling a holistic approach to the education, development, and care of children in our care, focusing on the child's physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing to inspire children's curiosity to create and explore their environment.
Partner with families to provide information and references to resources regarding unique learning or support needs for their children.
Continually embed the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Framework, and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
Work as a key team member to lead and implement and exceed the NQS quality areas.
Observe educators with children in our care, prepare individualised guidance, and feedback, and inspire learning and self-awareness.
Create safe learning and reflection environments for our people, documenting their experiences and evaluating their skills under the direction of the Centre Leadership Team.
Maintain routines and structures that respond to the children's needs in your care always via caring and respectful relationships.
Prioritise an environment that is safety-first for children in our care and fellow team members, aesthetically uplifting, culturally welcoming, and positive.
Be Wise - Respect diversity and be inclusive while considering a team member's child or family's cultural and community needs.

Your skills and personal attributes for the Hive Your commitment and passion for early learning underpin your enthusiasm for all young Australians to become successful learners, confident and creative individuals, and active and informed citizens who are prepared for the lifelong learning journey.
You hold a completed diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care that is NQF approved.
You hold a current working with children check (or can get one).
You work harmoniously with teams of people, have a flexible approach, and prioritise the health, wellbeing, and experience of children and your team.
