This service is looking for a dynamic, confident leader in the Early Childhood Industry to join our management team as an Educational/Program Leader who will be working collaboratively with the Service management to help their service reach the heights of success.
Essential Qualifications and LicencesDiploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent/higher qualification as recognized by ACECQA).A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.Current and valid Australian Work Rights.Desirable Skills, Experience & KnowledgeStrong understanding of the EYLF and NQS to ensure quality practices and outcomes.Proven experience in leadership roles in an Early Childhood setting with leadership skills to guide, mentor, and support educators, fostering continuous improvement.Excellent communication skills for working with families, educators, and external agencies.Experience planning, implementing, and assessing high-quality educational programs.Commitment to reflective practices, feedback, and ongoing professional learning.Familiarity with National Regulations and effective use of technology for documentation and planning.Lead reflective discussions to enhance practice and implementation of learning frameworks, fostering a culture of growth, teamwork, and positivity.Support and mentor staff by modelling high-quality interactions and program practices, stepping in as needed to demonstrate best practices.Collaborate with families and early childhood professionals, forming partnerships with local services to strengthen community ties.Regularly assess routines, learning experiences, and child interactions, providing feedback to improve effectiveness.Ensure compliance with policies, assess risks, and uphold service standards in alignment with governing bodies.Document and reflect on children's learning to inform curriculum decisions, supporting educators in developing their documentation style.Key Benefits we offer for joining our Hive:Get paid competitive, above-award rates!Additional Educational Leader allowance paid in addition to your salary!Get a Laundry allowance and annual Uniform allocation in addition to your salary!Generous Childcare Gap Fee discounts for Busy Bees permanent service staff!Professional Development opportunities and management who support you!Continue improving your knowledge and skills with our Busy Bees training platform!Access to the Busy Bees' Employee Assistance Program!An opportunity to participate in our Global Talent Exchange Program!If you are a motivated and experienced leader passionate about Early Childhood Education, if this sounds like a role that you could dive into and take ownership of, please submit your resume via the APPLY button which will direct you to our internal application site.
