At BOSCCA, we not only offer high-quality educational programs but also a welcoming and supportive workplace where staff can thrive.About the OpportunityBOSCCA is seeking a full-time Educational Leader based in Broome, WA.In this role, you will develop and implement high-quality educational programs that support the learning and development of children aged 5-12.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading and facilitating the successful planning, implementation, and evaluation of play-based learning programs based on the My Time Our Place FrameworkMentoring and guiding educators in best practices to ensure compliance with the National Quality FrameworkBuilding strong relationships with children, families, and educators to create a supportive environmentEnsuring that all educational programs meet compliance standards and reflect the values of the serviceDeveloping and reviewing the Quality Improvement Plan in collaboration with the OSHC CoordinatorProviding leadership and promoting continuous improvement in educational practicesUpholding child safety, promoting inclusion, and adhering to all relevant legal frameworks and policiesAbout YouTo be considered, you will need a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), along with at least 3 years of leadership experience in school-aged care services. A willingness to be the nominated supervisor/responsible person is essential.A valid Working with Children Check, Child Protection Training, and current First Aid certification will also be required.Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised UniversityDemonstrated knowledge of the My Time Our Place FrameworkProven leadership and mentoring experienceStrong understanding of the National Quality Framework and child protection legislationExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsCommitment to continuous improvement and reflective practiceAs our ideal candidate, you will be passionate about child development and education, bringing energy, innovation, and leadership to our programs.
