Busy Bees at Lara At Busy Bees Lara, a 103-place service, you'll find a warm and nurturing learning environment and inspiring learning opportunities for children aged birth to 5 years.
Located 15 minutes from the Avalon Domestic terminal, we have strong community connections with our local Lara fire brigade, library and nursing home, which provides unique learning opportunities.
Our service is looking for a dynamic, confident leader in the Early Childhood Industry to join our management team.
Someone who is looking to showcase your leadership skills and knowledge of the Early Childhood Industry.
Our Educational Leader will be working collaboratively with the Service management to help their service reach the heights of success.

Essential Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent/higher as recognized by ACECQA). A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one. First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis. Current and Valid Australian Work Rights. Essential Skills and Attributes A comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard to ensure best practices. Ability to guide, mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional reflection and continuous improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with educators, families and external agencies. Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality educational programs. Demonstrated capacity to reflect on practices, seek feedback and engage in ongoing professional learning. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the broader community. Essential Experience and Knowledge Proven track record as an effective leader or mentor in an early childhood settings (Assistant Centre Manager, Centre Manager or Educational/Program Leader experience required). Ensuring all children have equitable access to learning opportunities, catering to diverse needs. Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations. Participation in ongoing training and professional development to remain updated with sector changes. Capability to use relevant software and technology for documentation, communication and planning.
