Full time, Ongoing $114,788 - plus super Excellent work/life balance A highly sought after leadership opportunity in VET education An opportunity to have a meaningful impact with Defence students ABOUT THE ROLE In this role, you will work under the direction of the Academic Manager, Armament and Construction Wing to lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training for the next generation of Australian Defence Force soldiers.
The main duties of an Educational Leader are: Providing educational leadership to their team including the management of staff, building, and maintaining a positive workplace culture and high-quality curriculum development.
Review training delivery against our continuous improvement and innovation frameworks to ensure best practice training delivery.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Defence students, Defence staff and the wider organisation.
ABOUT YOU Skills & Experience Academic and trade qualifications combined with teaching and vocational experience in the Engineering field.
A teaching qualification at Australian Qualifications Framework Level 6 or above that includes supervised teaching practice, studies in adult teaching methodology and in a vocational education environment or equivalent and studies in applied research (linked to the Boyer Framework) OR currently working towards successfully completing.
Current Australian Drivers Licence.
Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
