About the role We have an exciting permanent part-time opportunity for a creative and motivated individual with current industry knowledge and experience in Nursing to join our Ballina team as an Education Support Officer (ESO).
Working within a team of Nursing professionals, the Education Support Officer is supervised by the Head Teacher.
The role is responsible for a range of activities which support learners and enhance the student learning experience.
Note: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment. About You You will love this role if you thrive on solving problems and helping others.
You will be a part of a dynamic team, supporting students to successfully carry out tasks and understand their learning materials and concepts whilst creating an innovative and exciting educational environment.
You will be technologically savvy with some prior demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and online meeting platforms like MS Teams or Zoom to be able to support students both face-to-face as well as via connecting platforms.
We are looking for motivated and engaged individuals who have the ability to meet the following selection criteria:
Diploma (or above) in Nursing Demonstrated experience in the Nursing Industry (three years, gained in the last five years) Commitment and ability to support learning in an adult environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students. High-level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a clear and concise manner. Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and to provide quality customer service as part of a broader team. Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
