Full time continuing position.
Located on the Darlington Campus at the School of School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Opportunity to provide a broad range of education administrative and operational support to Academic and Teaching staff to meet the educational support needs of the School Base Salary $99,455 - $ 107,216 p.a.
(HEO6) + 17% superannuation About the opportunity Working within the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering administration team, the Education Support Officer will carry out administrative tasks that support coursework programs delivery at the School including: exam results collection and examiners meetings, Dean's list and graduand checks, services relevant coursework related committee meetings/workshops, collate information on coursework prizes, and coordinate annual prize and scholarships events, graduation and other coursework program events.
Your key responsibilities will be to: provide administrative services to assist the management of the Capstone/Thesis Units of Studies coordinate the compilation of academic content and materials prepared by Academic and Teaching staff for programs of study, for printed publications and/or uploading to Canvas/online systems provide education support services in line with academic requirements and the overall timetable for the School provide administrative support to coursework programs delivery coordinate accreditation requirements for UG and PG coursework programs of study ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory controls and a safe working environment for all staff and students.
About you previous experience delivering education programs, preferably in a tertiary education environment demonstrated experience working in a tertiary environment with working knowledge of using Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, together with sound understanding of timetabling/rostering of student activities effective and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written) paired with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement, along with the ability to priorities workload during busy periods excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to priorities effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes experience delivering education programs, preferably in a tertiary education environment experience working in a tertiary environment with working knowledge of using Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, together with sound understanding of timetabling/rostering of student activities extensive knowledge of university policies and procedures and administrative processes within a tertiary environment.
