About the role As an Education Support Officer, your primary responsibility is to work within the classroom environment, supporting learners and enhancing the student learning experience. Your focus is on ensuring positive student outcomes by providing tailored assistance to a diverse range of students.
While you won't need a teaching qualification, your passion for education and commitment to supporting TAFE NSW students are essential. Your role centres around creating a conducive learning environment and assisting both students and teachers in achieving their educational goals.
About You You are an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who excels at helping and empowering others to reach their full potential. With up-to-date expertise in Commercial Cookery or Bakery, you will demonstrate experience in building strong relationships and delivering outstanding customer service to a diverse range of people.
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following essential requirements:
Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Bakery. Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline. High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative. Commitment and ability to support learning in an adult environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students. Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies. Highly regarded Hold a Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certificate.
