YOUR ROLE AS AN 'EDUCATION STRATEGIST' As a Kalibrate-Ed Education Strategist, you will work directly with families and schools to personalise education strategies to support students and achieve specific learning outcomes.
Typical project outcomes you will be responsible for: Improve academic results for higher marks and a stronger ATAR to get into the best possible course for their future university and career opportunities. Support students with unique learning challenges (such as ADHD, dyslexia, ASD, mental health, elite athletes etc.) adapt or create learning strategies so they become effective learners. Build academic & lifelong learning skills: time-management, study skills, assessment planning, exam strategies, motivation, focus, critical thinking, stress management. Proactive, organised students who effectively manage and are in control of their time. Focused, productive students who study effectively, even around distractions Help disengaged students become motivated and interested in their learning. Help students find a clear direction so they are confident about their future university and career. How you'll do it? Design Education Strategy – recommend and create high-quality, detailed education roadmaps to achieve client outcomes using a proven methodology. Strategy Implementation – be responsible for expert execution of details and activities to a high-quality standard. Manage the Strategy Process – flexibly adapt and explore new ideas to optimise client strategies. Build Skills & Capability – where no suitable tools exist, innovate and design new learning supports to prioritise client needs and specific outcomes. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Successful candidates must have a well-honed professional skillset and life experience suited to strategically delivering student-centric, outcomes-based learning support.
You must have: 1. Bachelor's degree or higher attained in Australia.
2. Minimum 4 years in working directly with teenagers, high school students and their families in an education, tutoring or learning support setting.
3. A strong working understanding of the Australian secondary education, university admission requirements and career pathways.
4. Valid Working with Children Check.
Strongly Preferred: Demonstrated practical experience working directly with teenagers and parents in high school education, teaching, study skills, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, career coaching, expert advisory. Practical teaching experience in study skills or STEM subjects. Experience in people-based strategy and change consulting including project management and delivery of outcomes-based projects is highly favourable.
