The Role
As an Education Sector BDM at ELB, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within schools in NSW. You will leverage your extensive industry knowledge and network to build strong relationships with potential clients and partners. Your ability to understand the needs of teachers and students and provide tailored solutions to our schools will be crucial in achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients in various areas within the Education Sector, including schools, universities, colleges, and TAFE, using your contacts and our extensive customer database. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' AV requirements. Present and demonstrate ELB's AV products to clients, highlighting their unique features and benefits. Collaborate with the technical team to design customized AV solutions for clients. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AV technology. Requirements:
Experience within the education sector, either as a teacher or in sales to education departments. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong network within the Education sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets. Exceptional negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
