About the Role
As the Publishing Director, you will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionise educational content. You will ensure that our resources empower educators and students to achieve their fullest potential in the Australian educational landscape.
In this role, you will:
Drive the successful and profitable execution of a diverse, multi-component publishing programme that meets the evolving needs of secondary education in Australia.
Lead and inspire a dedicated team of publishing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality educational resources.
Cultivate solid and productive relationships across all business functions and with external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with our strategic goals.
Provide strategic input into budgets, policy, and other critical business decisions.
About You
We seek an experienced leader with a proven successful project delivery track record. To excel in this role, you will bring:
A degree in publishing, education, business, management, or a related field.
Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing large teams and driving strategic initiatives that yield measurable results.
Expertise in managing complex, geographically dispersed teams, including remote workers and freelancers, to deliver cohesive, high-impact projects.
A deep understanding of the publishing lifecycle and the challenges and opportunities within the industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
A commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
