RAAFA is excited to announce the newly created Education Program Specialist role in our Heritage Team.
This position will see you develop and deliver educational programs to children and young people, which will play a crucial part in enhancing the educational offerings related to our Aviation Heritage Museum and the delivery of RAAFA's strategic objectives.

This role will see you:
Develop and deliver captivating and inspiring STEM learning opportunities for children and young people.
Coordinate visitation with schools to grow museum visitation and knowledge of aviation history and heritage.
Monitor and assess the program's effectiveness and recommend improvements as needed.
Stay informed about trends and best practices in Australian education and incorporate them into this program.
Represent, build relationships and uphold the values of RAAFA with community, schools and educational bodies.
Collaborate with other museums and RAAFA to partner in the design and delivery of programs.
Comply with all RAAFA Policies and Procedures and all reasonable management directions.
About you:
Tertiary qualified in education and curriculum development.
Qualifications and extensive experience in developing, leading, delivering and managing state-wide education programs and evaluating those programs.
Solid knowledge of Australian education policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
Experience with project and contract performance management.
Current working knowledge of the Western Australian education system.
Proven experience in conducting curriculum mapping and creating program and course learning outcomes.
Proficiency in using various instructional design models and frameworks, with the ability to create instructional design plans.
Current Working with Children Check (WCC) Certification.
