UNSW College is currently recruiting experienced Academic English teachers for our end of year Diploma and Foundation Studies intake.
Offers of employment can be on a casual basis, and you may be rostered up to 5 days per week on a variety of shifts.
Short term (fixed term) contracts are also available as part time or full-time options.
We often recruit for a number of ongoing teacher positions, and successful casuals are eligible to apply internally for ongoing / permanent roles.

What we are looking for: An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and an appropriate TESOL qualification (qualifications must satisfy regulation and Industry requirements including 100 contact hours and 6 hours of practicum)Demonstrated ability and experience with at least three years of teaching across a range of Academic English courses and pathway programsDemonstrated experience with online, blended and/or hybrid teaching and learningDemonstrated ability to use a range of digital and collaborative tools to enhance student engagement and the achievement of learning outcomes in online and blended delivery environmentsDemonstrated ability to adapt and deliver teaching materials for online, blended and/or hybrid delivery in Academic English programs using a variety of online platformsEvidence of professional development activities undertaken in areas such as assessment and curriculum development, online and hybrid teachingAbility to work effectively in a team environmentPositive contribution to departmental culture and communities of practiceProven ability to contribute to an effective teaching team (high level communication and strong organisational skills, initiative)Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and creative curriculum content for Academic English programsDemonstrated ability to develop a variety of assessment tasks for various modes of deliveryExperience coordinating Academic English programsTo be considered, your application must include the following: A PDF of your current CV including scanned PDF copies of your TESOL qualification and Bachelor degree;In the 'cover letter' section of your application: Please upload a statement addressing each of the essential and desirable selection criteria listed in the position description, in lieu of a cover letter.Note: Applications received without addressing the selection criteria above will not be considered.
