About The RoleThe Royal Australasian College of Physicians is seeking a highly skilled Education Officer to provide professional informed secretariat and administrative support for our training programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all administration in relation to allocated training programs, ensuring seamless implementation of policies and procedures.Organize accreditation of training sites and implement changes to accreditation policy and procedures as required, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.Coordinate, attend, and facilitate meetings for allocated committees, providing high-level secretariat services to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Prepare agendas and briefs, produce minutes, draft reports, and correspondence, demonstrating exceptional written and oral communication skills.Proactively advocate for allocated committees to adhere to College policy, procedures, and strategy, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.Work with committees to ensure that members are adequately trained and succession plans are considered, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.Work with committees to annually revise training requirements and update program requirement handbooks, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Facilitate effective communication and consultation between all College units and these committees, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.Contribute towards projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.RequirementsExcellent written and oral communication skills, including business writing and presentations.Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage a range of complex tasks in a changing work environment, maintaining an attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with own and other teams, demonstrating a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to learn.A commitment to professional client service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations.Certificate IV or Diploma of Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge, and skills.Professional experience preferably implementing education/health programs or in a member-based organization, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and its challenges.
