The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide professional informed secretariat and administrative support and to implement RACP training program policies and procedures.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate all administration in relation to allocated training programs
Organise accreditation of training sites and implement changes to accreditation policy and procedures as required
Coordinate, attend and facilitate meetings for allocated committees and provide high level secretariat services to committees
Prepare agendas and briefs, produce minutes, draft reports and correspondence
Proactively advocate for allocated committees to adhere to College policy, procedures and strategy
Work with committees to ensure that members are adequately trained and succession plans are considered
Work with committees to annually revise training requirements and update program requirement handbooks
Facilitate effective communication and consultation between all College units and these committees
Contributing towards projects as required
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including business writing and presentations
Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships
Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, managing a range of complex tasks in a changing work environment while maintaining an attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate with own and other teams
A commitment to professional client service
Certificate IV or Diploma of Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
Professional experience preferably implementing education/health programs or in a member based organisation
