ABOUT THE ROLE This role is accountable for the provision of operational support and leadership through the focus and development of strategies and programs that promote the Institute's Educational Excellence Framework.
This position directly supports the Manager Hair Beauty and Makeup and peers in the Business Area in managing and leading the implementation of Operational excellence, business growth and opportunities that enhance the Institute's reputation and meets industry and community needs in the course areas as designated.
The incumbent is a key member of the Hair Beauty and Makeup Business Area and Education Manager Network within Chisholm and provides contemporary teaching and learning leadership and expertise in their subject matter area and educational excellence.
As an Education Manager - Hair Beauty and Wellness your key responsibilities include:
Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learnersEnsure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirementsEstablish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learningAdapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resourcesUndertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taughtAssist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programsMaintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
