ABOUT THE ROLE This role is accountable for the provision of operational support and leadership through the focus and development of strategies and programs that promote the Institute's Educational Excellence Framework.
This position directly supports the Manager Plumbing and Safety Services in managing and leading the implementation of operational excellence, business growth, and opportunities that enhance the Institute's reputation and meet industry and community needs in the designated course areas.
The incumbent is a key member of the Plumbing and Safety Services Business Area and Education Manager Network within Chisholm and provides contemporary teaching and learning leadership and expertise in their subject matter area and educational excellence.
ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual with demonstrated people leadership skills and experience in the delivery and development of contemporary educational programs.
Qualifications required for the role: Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher or a commitment to undertake studies at this level Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) Certificate III or IV in Plumbing Vocational Qualifications relevant to Plumbing and industry currency Registration with professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline Skills & Experience required for the role: Demonstrated successful experience in the delivery and development of contemporary educational programs that meet learner, industry, and community needs High level interpersonal and communication skills Experienced People Leader, managing a team across multiple site locations High level organisational skills and the ability to coordinate resources in significant program areas Demonstrated ability to plan, develop and use tools in assessing learner competence Evidence of ongoing vocational and professional development and currency Ability to design and deliver engaging program materials and training sessions Ability to motivate and guide students to optimise their learning outcomes High level awareness of learners from a broad range of backgrounds Proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances Experience in developing innovative educational delivery methods ABOUT US Chisholm is one of the largest vocational training providers in the state with a team of over 1,400 dedicated staff supporting 41,000 students.
