Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (RFBI) was established in 1880 to help people in need, today we are an award winning, leading aged care provider with a vision to provide quality aged care services that are accessible by all people and has a positive impact on their lives.
We operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.Position Information:This leadership role focuses on coordinating employee training and guiding a diverse team to deliver exceptional, customised care.
You'll identify educational needs, foster collaboration, and implement innovative learning methods with the support of the RFBI Learning and Development Team.
Essential skills include outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience in nursing education, clinical training, or curriculum development.
Responsibilities include conducting needs analysis, coordinating educational efforts, and mentoring staff.
The role offers opportunities for personal growth and leadership in a supportive, cross-functional team environment.Key responsibilities in this position will include:Driving and supporting best-practice clinical care, comfort, and person-centred support to our residents.Support learning needs alongside Registered Nurse, Care staff and our broader dynamic team.Evaluating learning needs and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to support our continuous professional development approach.Overseeing and supporting staff with assessment, documentation, and provision of person-centred care.Coordinate employee training within the village and provide proactive/interactive education sessions.To be successful in the role, you will have:Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseExcellent people and clinical skills2+ years previous experience in Aged CareDemonstrated experience in an educator roleProficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCareExperience in undertaking aged care funding instrument (ANACC) assessments and submissions would be desirableWhat's on offer:Work for one of the best providers in the aged care sectorAttractive hourly rates, conditions and salary sacrifice optionsA friendly and supportive manager, culture & teamOpportunities for develop and advance your careerTo be eligible you must have or be able to obtain a current National Police Check and be willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Functional Assessment.All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.Applications Close: 8 January 2025Join us in our journey, apply now in the link below
