We're looking for an Education Consultant (1 Year Contract) to join our passionate and driven team. The Education Consultant will be connecting with academics and key stake holders at the higher education institutions to understand their pain points and provide solutions through McGraw Hill digital and print products.
How can you make an impact? The Education Consultants are proactive salespeople, well-organised and data-driven with an aptitude in problem-solving. The ideal candidate can recognise opportunity from changes in economic conditions, competitor activity, market or educational trends, and demographic to engage and close business.
What you will be doing: Manage and build strong relationships with a diverse group of decision makers – becoming their trusted advisor for higher education course solutions and continuously identifying new opportunities to cultivate partnerships Create customer value and grow revenue by analyzing customer needs, synthesizing gathered information, and recommending digital solutions that will deliver desired results Working closely with the wider team to identify strategic opportunities and drive B2B conversations and close them Manage and co-ordinate tender processes and contracts where applicable Maintain accuracy in company records such as ensuring all calls are logged in SalesForce.com, opportunities are tracked with correct details and customers' details are accurately captured We're looking for someone with: Bachelor Degree, university degree or equivalent Expert knowledge and experience of selling digital and online products and solutions Enthusiasm for the digital learning and teaching environment. An excellent sense of team collaboration and working as opportunity/project teams Proven track record of sales success Must have initiative to work on own a lot of the time, and to be able to tackle cold calling and appointment making While parts of the role will & can be conducted virtually, there will be (approved) travel in territory (up to ~60% ) depending on sales season Proven diplomacy and persuasive skill set Why join us?
