Salary: Level 2/3, $32.87 - $37.37 per hour (EA (Gov) GA 2023)
This is a permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025 Growth through Learning is our vision at Kojonup District High School (DHS) and it is embedded in everything that we do. As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of planned education programs that will help in the development of the whole child. In this role, you will collaborate and work in a team environment, and ideally possess good organisational skills as well as good written and oral communication skills to enable the implementation of individual or small group programs, as well as the ability to support general health and well-being of students.
Suitable applicants should have a high level of interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with staff members to meet the needs of students. Suitable applicants will ideally possess the knowledge and experience of working with students with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties and the ability to support student growth, both academically and socially, within the classroom setting.
