We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following position:
Education Assistant: Short-term Contract (Term 3, 2024) Tuesday 16 July – 20 September 2024: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm (0.93 FTE) We are looking for an outstanding and passionate Education Assistant to work in a Year 1 classroom for three days per week and as part of our Inclusive Education Team for two days per week:
The successful applicant will: Competently and capably assist young students within the classroom and outdoor Early Learning environment to meet their learning goals Collaborate with teachers and other education assistants to provide an excellent education for all students Work with students in small groups to enhance their learning and understanding of the curriculum Demonstrate high levels of competency, creativity and initiative in lesson task preparation, tidying up and packing away and record-keeping where appropriate Demonstrate knowledge of and a commitment to Protective Behaviours/Child Protection education and care practices that ensure a child-safe learning environment Demonstrate excellent written and oral English communication skills
