The Opportunity The Education and Resource Recovery Coordinator is accountable for the development, delivery, support and auditing of education programs pertaining to waste segregation, diversion, reduction and recycling.
This role contributes to the achievement of the contractual obligations to implement waste reduction and resource recovery strategies that will assist in achieving client goals of reducing waste and increasing recycling initiatives. Additionally, the opportunity to introduce new systems, processes, innovation and or technology relating to waste management services to enhance Cleanaway's product and service offering.
Provide a point of contact to customers for inquiries and ensure contractual requirements for resource recovery activities are actioned and met.Develop content and deliver a range of education and engagement programmes in educational centres from primary schools to universities with the aim to increase awareness, participation and promote good recycling behaviours.Liaise and coordinate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders regarding project requirements around stainability activities at conferences, recycling centres tours, lectures, customer meetings and community events.Have a strong descriptive, analytical, persuasive and critical report writing skills with the ability to adapt information and present to audiences from school children to university students and business operators.Has drive and takes initiatives in researching, networking and finding innovative ways to improve diversion from landfill. About You Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, science, education, marketing desirable, or, demonstrable experience in successfully delivering education / behavioural change programs to different audiences.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Class C driver's license – role requires travel to multiple sites and locations within metro area.Will require clearance to work with children.Competitive salary packageFlexible working arrangementsCareer opportunities in a high growth, Australian businessSupportive and safe work environmentPaid parental leaveGreat company benefits: Employee share program, company discounts, salary packaging, flu vaccinations, EAP, discounts on private health insurance and more.Our Process Our recruitment process involves a number of checks including, but not limited to, criminal history, medicals, drug & alcohol testing, as well as verification of qualifications, licences and right-to-work status.
