As such, we have a strong focus on creating an accountable, supportive and engaging work environment built on joint purpose, teamwork, and enthusiasm for what we do.About the roleReporting to the Training Manager, your key responsibilities would include:Professional Development & Team CollaborationDeveloping training materialWriting articles, case studies, publications when needed, and proofreading training material prior to publication and printParticipate in team meetingsMaintaining industry currencyAssessing Student WorkAssessing written workbooks and practice items from the courses within required timeframes and according to benchmark standards.Provide a sufficient amount of feedback on each assessment item.Conducting joint assessments with other assessors who are in training.Student SupportAnswering education and study enquiries regarding education requirements of the vocational training programs.Providing academic guidance and support to students via the Study Assistance phone line and email.Providing support and guidance to students who require additional assistance, such as those who have received Not Yet Competent (NYC) results on their assessment items, students with special learning requirements and those who require Language, Literacy and Numeracy assistance.About YouMinimum education level of a Diploma in Allied Health Services or a related field, however, degree level qualifications in Allied Health services or a related field are preferableCertificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment - AIPC will cover cost of course)A minimum 2 years of recent Allied Health work experience (voluntary or paid)Well-developed communication & interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and excellent organisational skillsHigh Computer literacy and Microsoft Office skillsTo Apply:If this sounds like you, please submit your application, attaching your Resume and Cover outlining how you meet the requirements for this position.Questions about your identity help us appreciate the diversity of individuals looking to work with us, ensuring we're attracting applications from people with identities and perspectives that are as diverse as our students.We are an equal opportunity employer.
