What's the role?Want to break into the world of magazines and digital publishing? We have an entry-level role at Company Director magazine for a recent graduate, ideally with at least one year experience in an office setting.
This is a 3 day a week role for 6 months and is a great path to becoming a digital content producer or journalist. Company Director is the award winning monthly print and digital magazine for members of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) – the largest director institute in the world. Our readers are the decision makers in Australia: directors and chairs of top listed companies, private businesses, NFPs, C-Suite and aspirational executives.
This role will allow you to be creative, but also involves team support and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:Manage the upload of all editorial content to the AICD website, including basic HTML coding, optimising for web performance and SEO.Brief, create, schedule and monitor social assets and social campaigns that drive engagement and web traffic.Brief, coordinate and oversee production of the Company Director eDM.Accurate coding and logging of invoices, gaining authorisation and passing through to finance, and reconciling expenses.Brief photographers in consultation with art directors, managing communications with the talent and relevant stakeholders, coordinate schedules and shoot locations.Who are you?Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards.A self-starter, proactive in identifying and solving problems, and always looking for ways to improve processes.Keenly interested in content creation and publishing, with an eye for engaging stories and a flair for optimising digital performance.A strong communicator and team player, capable of building relationships with colleagues, contributors, and client stakeholders.Adaptable and tech-savvy, ready to tackle new challenges in both administrative and creative tasks.News BenefitsNews Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
