Selection CriteriaHighly developed communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain comprehensive data and accurate case notes on students.Demonstrated ability to undertake individual support, counselling and risk assessments where appropriate for students presenting with various wellbeing and inclusion needs (i.e.
self-harm/Anxiety/Intellectual Disability/ASD/ADHD etc.
).Demonstrated ability to develop and review appropriate documents to support the individual and the school based on identified need of student (i.e.

ResponsibilitiesTo abide by the Schools Code of Conduct which expects and requires staff and visitors to ensure the protection of students.To fully support the school's Child Safe Policy for the prevention of student abuse by identifying risks early, taking all allegations and concerns seriously, reporting to appropriate staff who have specific responsibilities regarding Child Safety to remove and reduce risks to all students at Camberwell High School.Provide counselling to students as required.Provide and support referrals to other support agencies where necessary.Provide and support internal and external school programs across specific levels that promote student inclusion and wellbeing.Provide information and advice to parents and students upon request, including coordination and referral to DET Student Support Services, other Government agencies and alternative education/training/employment programs.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
