Location Profile Laburnum Primary School was established in 1964 and is set in an attractive bushland setting. Laburnum P.S. is a child safe school and all staff are expected to play an important role in ensuring a child safe environment.
Current enrolment is 700, organised into 30 classes, with a balanced mix of experienced and newer teachers. The proportion of students with a language background other than English (LBOTE) is 74%.

Role An education support class position will perform tasks in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision. This includes coordination of other education support staff.
Responsibilities include:
Provides routine support for teachers including planning of student routines. Supports communication between teachers and parents. Addresses immediate behavioural presentations relating to specific students. Provides medical intervention support to students, under specific conditions.
