About your new role: Your passion and enthusiasm will see you lead a classroom by effectively engaging with children, families, Educators, and the wider community to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your classroom and flexible routines. You will work alongside the Ed Leader to provide creative learning experiences. You will mentor and lead your team in your classroom to incorporate collaboration, reflection and respect at all times. You will provide a comprehensive Transition to School Program. You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children. You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Transition Statements. You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework VEYLDF You will work at all times in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards. You will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community. You will have confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families. You will have the ability to contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests, and include a clear cycle of reflective practice. Add in 6 weeks annual leave and a full day program planning. Additional programming time will be given to complete transition to school statements. The ideal candidate for this position will have: A Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA. Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications. Current Employment Working with Children Check. A sound understanding of the EYLF and VEYLDF. Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
