Playmates Cottage Childcare Centre Inc is a not-for-profit community run early learning centre.
We are seeking passionate and experienced early childhood educators to join our team. We have full-time, part-time & casual positions available for Qualified ECT, Diploma and Certificate III educators, as well as trainee educator roles.
What you'll be doing Plan and deliver engaging, play-based educational programs for children aged 0-5 yearsProvide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the holistic development of childrenImplement the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality StandardsCollaborate with parents and families to ensure the best outcomes for childrenParticipate in ongoing professional development to continuously improve your practiceAssist in the daily operations and routines of the childcare centreWhat we're looking for Formal early childhood education qualifications (Early Childhood Teacher, Diploma or Certificate III) Demonstrated experience working in a childcare or early learning settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for early childhood education and a commitment to the wellbeing of childrenStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamCurrent Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificate, current Child Protection Certificate.What we offer Small community run centre with a focus on children, family & community connectionsCompetitive remunerationOpportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and inclusive team environmentDiscount on childcare fees for your own childrenFlexible work arrangements to support work-life balanceProgramming & planning time for all educators.
